Newbeedrone's Team Pilot Pinchtune has a very well thought out and proven way to properly prep your TBS Unify VTX (and many others) for installation into basically anything. Anybody have some other ideas to share?
Words from Pinchtune:
It isn’t always the best idea to simply take a TBS Unify Pro HV out of the packaging and slap it on your quad, plug-in and go fly. The very popular VTX by Team BlackSheep will be better off with a little preparation. This includes planning the position of the pigtail and perhaps rerouting it, conformal coating and re-covering in shrink-tubing. The correct use of thermal tape to affix it to your FPV quad is also very important. In this video I go into detail as to what I do when I’m putting a new Team BlackSheep Unify Pro HV video transmitter into an FPV drone.
