The iFlight 5V/12V Step Down Micro BEC features high-efficiency synchronous rectification and the ability to step down from a wide input voltage range of 2-8S(5-36V) and provide a lower stable output voltage. It's an incredibly compact solution for still being able to provide 3 amps at 5 volts, and 2 amps at 12 volts.

Features:

  • Step-down Switch Mode
  • High-efficiency Synchronous Rectification
  • Wide Input voltage range
  • Voltage output can be 5V or 12V* (default 5V)

*When the "ON-12" Jumper pads are shorted, the output voltage is 12V 2A. When open, the output voltage is 5V 3A. See enlarged image below.

Specifications:

  • Input voltage: 2-8S(5-36V)
  • BEC Output: 5V/3A, 12V/2A (default 5V/2A)
  • Dimensions: 14x11x1mm
  • Pin Spacing: 2.54mm
  • Weight: 0.8g

Includes:

  • 3x iFlight Micro 2-8S BEC - 5V/12V Output
  • 1x Connecting Cables Set

Good and reliable

Great bec for powering the DJI 03 air unit. It has the amps to reliably operate it.

Gonna give these a shot

Some people don't like iflight becs. They say that iflight becs burn out. I'm going to try them for myself. They came with silicone wire, and an instruction card. I'm using them for the 12v regulator. I haven't powered them up yet, I'm waiting on other parts to finish my build.

works as advertised.

Using in 12V mode to power my runcam link with an older lumenier mini F7 ESC that doesn't provide enough juice. Tested with a voltmeter using 3s, 4s, and 6s, and the output appears to be a solid 12V. didn't test amperage, but works fine with the link unit so far.

The jumper pads for 12V mode are pretty tiny, but not too hard to solder if you're careful. didn't notice i was getting a 3 pack, so nice surprise and good value.
