Camera arrived broken but vtx works. Black screen w/ osd. Sure it’s a great product but very frustrating as I have been waiting to fly for a long time.

Concerned about durability — waiting on seller’s response
I was very excited to try the DJI O4 VTX, but my experience hasn’t been ideal so far. After a relatively light impact, the unit stopped working completely. I later discovered that many users online have reported similar issues, especially with the antenna connection. It seems the solder joints are fragile and might need reinforcement to avoid failure.
What concerns me most is that a component like this should be able to handle minor crashes—something very common in the FPV world. I reached out to the seller to explain the situation, and while they suggested contacting DJI support directly, I’m hoping they’ll reconsider and stand behind the product they sold. I’m currently traveling in the U.S. and was hoping to get this resolved quickly before heading back to South America.
At this point, I’m still waiting to see how the new bee drone suport responds, and I’ll gladly update this review if they help resolve the issue. Until then, I recommend treating this VTX with extra care and possibly reinforcing the antenna connection as a precaution.
