ELRS 3.X Receiver Binding Instructions

  1. Power On the Receiver: Connect the receiver to a USB port or power it on three times. The blue indicator LED will start a double-blink pattern, signalling that it’s ready for binding. Ensure you are using firmware version 3.x to enable successful binding.
  2. Prepare Your Remote Controller: Ensure that your remote controller is running ELRS 3.x firmware.
  3. Start the Binding Process: Once the LED on the receiver begins double-blinking, proceed with the binding process on your remote controller.

Make sure both devices are running compatible firmware versions to ensure a smooth binding process.

If you mess up the setting?

Important Notice: If you experience issues with your drone, DO NOT flash the firmware. Simply perform a factory reset using the configuration tool (e.g., Betaflight Configurator) and then do an accelerometer calibration. Drone Issues

I received the NewBeeDrone AcroBee75 BLV5 2S and it wasn’t functional upon arrival. After a quick and helpful email exchange with the support team, I was able to get it powered on and connected to my radio. However, once in the air, it’s been flying erratically, and it seems there may be an issue with the flight controller, as I have been tuning and attempting to resolve these issues within Betaflight for over 15 hours. The NewBeeDrone staff have been very supportive throughout this process, and I’m currently waiting to hear back about a possible refund, flight controller replacement, or full drone replacement. I’ll amend this review and provide updated feedback once I hear back from NBD.

Sold mine

Bought one and it would not connect to betaflight. I was not able to flash the latest software, or even adjust my rates. After a few of my local buddies tried to configure it, but no luck. I sent it in to newbee to take a look.
I received my second one and I was able to flash the props off update and changed rates.
But this one disconnects randomly, and even will throw a “flyaway” on the screen and I have to invert it to stop it from climbing. I thought it was the radio. I purchased a new boxer, and the quad will not bind using a phrase, and when I try to add it in wifi, it fails. The wifi is only up for 30 seconds at a time. I tried 3 plug method, cli method, and wifi. The radio takes the bind phrase, but this unit will not.
I will either sell this, or I will eat the cost. As I only have four quads, but I have never had this much trouble.

1st bump into something and 🔥 AIO 💨 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Always been a supporter of Newbee but less than a week after purchase hit a VERY small branch at low speed and altitude and the BeeBrain AIO smoked. Newbee failed to do anything about it. Very upsetting after doing so much business with them and supporting them on all platforms of social media. Anyone wanna buy a Acrobee 75 blv5? Maybe I will buy a Happymodel Mob 8 and use this paper weight for spare parts. I was told to replace AIO 😂 Yeah cause the 1st one was obviously a quality board 🤪 and that was the day I STOPPED BUYING ANYTHING from Newbee.

NewBeeDrone AcroBee75 BLV5 BNF

This is only my third FPV drone so i dont have much experience. I have a 1S whoop and a 2 inch toothpick. I purchased this one because I thought it would be a better outdoor whoop than my 1S, however this drone behaves erratically. It seems to randomly over correct especially in dives or small wind making often causing it to flip without input. My other two drones don't have this issue using the same transmitter. I also get my range on the VTX from my 1s on 200mw power making me think that the vtx rarely stays at the 400mw power when its set to max.
