We took everything we loved from the BOT5, made it beefier where it counts, mashed it up with design elements we’ve been fine tuning over the past year, and gave it replaceable 6mm arms… It’s the BOTAFX Banger 5″.
3 months of testing. 10 pilots. Freezing cold weather. Two broken arms. If this thing can survive Botgrinder and the BQE team, it can definitely take whatever abandoned buildings you chuck it at. There’s room for 2 stacks, it has quick change battery strap nubs, and if you run a 20×20 stack, changing an arm is as simple as removing a single bolt. And because we want to go easy on your wallet… we designed it so you can use your existing Bot5 and Bandolero GoPro mounts, and save your cash for some sweet Grinder II’s.

This is an awesome frame!
I have split so many frames clean in 2 lost arms and just had stuff fall off or not work because of the damage sustained 🤔
The knuckles on the arms even protect the motors from impact damage.
Highly recommended frame, the shipment to the UK was super quick and easily tracked

So far so good. I’ve had a few good crashes

Not quite indestructible but close
This frame lives up to the hype and takes a pounding like none I've ever seen. You will eventually break it, but for me that took 15mo, a dozen motors, a couple stacks, several 4in1's, a few cameras, and several gopros. Note the body is compact & w/ 20mm stand offs, so its a bit of a tight build...but I managed it as a newb the first time without too much trouble. FYI I run analog...
...to 'wire' that thing into my armattan badger :)
but a question: betaflight 3.8 doesn't recon a possible fc target to update, which one do i have to choose for bf update?
thanx and keep on rippin' 🤙🏼
I have two of these now and I feel like they're going to hold up well due to the fact it does not have the roller wheel that fails eventually on the ISDT chargers. Other than the roller selector I've had good luck with the other ISDT chargers I own. These have all of the features you expect on an ISDT charger plus a few new ones.
Some people don't like iflight becs. They say that iflight becs burn out. I'm going to try them for myself. They came with silicone wire, and an instruction card. I'm using them for the 12v regulator. I haven't powered them up yet, I'm waiting on other parts to finish my build.
