How long is yours?
You better have long cables on your batteries to use this one. I can only use certain batteries with this due to the need for such long wires. The first one I ordered had no functionality on the 3rd cell. NBD quickly sent me another, but I will be making extensions in order to actually charge my batts, especially the 2s batts.
I wanted something that was packable and easy to take with. Got tired of needing to pack a large radio, neck straps, and all of the needed padding to just fly my whoops when traveling. This radio is so much easier to throw in a bag and fly with. Coming from a Taranis X9D plus, the pocket is a lot lighter and easier to carry. Gimbals feel good and it’s comfortable when holding. It’s the first small radio I tried that I was able to feel comfortable with. Compared to Zorro and TX12, the Pocket feels a lot more balanced. Highly recommended as a travel or only radio if you want something light and easy to carry.
Some downsides:
1. Arming/disarming takes a bit to get used to since there are not traditional switches.
2. Even though there are 5 position switches for the trims, you can’t use the center press as a switch like Jumper
3. The case is glossy, I wish it was more textured like DJI radios for better grip.
4. The speaker makes a buzzing sound when powered on and sometimes switching things in menus.
Otherwise great radio that’s easy to fly and live with.
I flew drones yrs ago. I dabbled in all types of drones from tiny whoops to 4 inch freestyle/acro quads to cine dji. Good beginner starter bundle. Definitely worth the $.
