The BeeBrain BLV3 Flight Controller Flight Controller!

The latest iteration of the BeeBrainBL contains massive improvements to the performance of the built in FrSky Receiver and built in video transmitter.

In addition, the MOSFETs were upgraded to support the power demands of micro toothpick drones.

The solder pads on each ESC were enlarged to enable custom builds! With plenty of surface area and spacing, you can now solder on any motor of your choosing. One of our favorite applications of the BeeBrain BL is in micro drones. Since the BeeBrain BL integrates the flight controller, ESCs, receiver, and video transmitter all in one package, it's insanely easy and clean to build.

Receiver Improvements - 50% More Range

  1. Optimized SPI Receiver hardware to improve efficiency within the receiver.
  2. Removable antennas.
  3. Additional low noise amplifier to increase range.
  4. Optional wiring harness is included to install an external receiver (Crossfire, Ghost, etc)

Video Transmitter Improvements - 120mW

  1. New heatsink and layout to increase heat dispersion and efficiency.
  2. Transmitting power increased to 120mW from 25mW (V2)

Doesn't bind, no documentation

there is no way to know how to bind this with my Taranis x9 lite S and it says it is compatible. But how? nowhere to find the info.

Works fine for me

Using with a cockroach frame, NBD 0802 Gold motors with plugs, BeeEye camera, goober canopy, and FrSky X9D + XJT JR module (for D8 Tx/Rx).

Haven't had any issues so far with overheating or VTX signals flying around my apartment and a warehouse. Could see this being a little difficult if you're trying to solder wires or motors to it, but should be managable if you're careful. Will update review if and how it dies on me.

Have heard that it is not allowed for certain race/comps due to VTX/interference issues (whooptopia?), but I'm not racing it so this is not an issue for me.

I dont know how to change the power level to medium

I tried flying it and it wont lift off. After closer inspection to the specifications I learned that I might need to change the power level but I cant figure out how. I looked all through betaflight and just couldnt find it.
