iFlight Chimera7 Pro V2 6S FPV Long Range Analog - BNF
Description
The KING of Long Range FPV! Another breakthrough in FPV visuals from DJI with our upgraded frame and electronics. A super-efficient iFlight 7.5inch Long-Range bird that can go where you couldn't go before and can carry bigger batteries to get the flight time to surf the swiss alps if you want! A super stiff frame for minimum resonance and XING2 2809 motors for maximum 7.5inch prop control. Fly big batteries top-mounted, or even bigger batteries bottom-mounted, 6cells recommended or 5cells for slow cruising. But whatever style you fly, a Lipo or Lion pack will just do the job. Recommended 5S 3.000mAh above (slow cruising) or our new 6S 3300mAh battery.
Highlights
Smooth and Powerful XING2 Motors
The latest upgrade of our bestseller XING motors, no compromises taken! Durable unibell (one-piece bell) technology, strong titanium alloy shaft with reinforced bell joint, crash resistant 7075 aluminum bell, smooth and long-lasting Japanese NSK bearings, center slotted N52H curved arc magnets and our XING O-ring bushing gap protection.
Latest Chimera7 Pro Frame for Maximum Protection
The old days are over, getting your electronics full of dirt and wet grass every time you crash. Our latest frame reduces contamination that could build up on your flight controller or ESCs, preventing failure or short circuits. Strategic airflow to keep your components cool and clean without taking any shortcuts in weight or performance. Illuminated side panels and 360-degree TPU protective parts.
Secured Battery Plug with Anti-Spark Filter
Plugging in a battery can create a loud spark at the connector which is caused by the high battery current rushing into the low ESR capacitor first as well as filling up ESC capacitance. We’ve added a protective circuit to extend the lifespan of XT60 connectors and prevent rapid voltage or current spikes which can protect your electronics from damage.
GPS Pre-Installed for More Safety at A Distance
GPS functionality to find your way back and Betaflight GPS Rescue mode ready to setup (default OFF to prevent unexpected behaviour; Setup instructions included). Custom iFlight 100mm LR antenna for best signal coverage even at long distances.

Right away, this is the best 65mm Whoop I know. Not even close.
I ordered two, one is more or less stock, just the PEEK motor screws and V3 cockroach. The second is upgraded to 0702 27000kV but will go back because I like the 25000kV more because of smoother throttle response and perfect betaflight tune.
Now the but:
1. On both quads I had to replace the BeeEye for a spare one because both are out of focus.
2. the yellow props were way too loose and very brittle. I lost two on my maiden. Black, blue and red are very tight (too tight for such a fragile prop) but if you get them on without bending them, they will last.
3. why does the quad not come with the lighter frame right away?
4. PH2.0…. You know the drill.
On that price point, even after the frame and PEEK upgrade I can forgive these quality issues. Especially considering the great tune and quality FC and motors. But be sure to order a replacement cam and props right away.
This was kind of a late night lark. I'd seen this upgrade for the Mk3 for a while and pondered whether it was a gimmick or not, and I'm pleased to say it's a genuinely good upgrade. It has reduced the noise of my Mk3 considerably. I haven't noted any significant increase in print quality, but the old drone of the bed is gone and that's completely worth it.
