SMARTAUDIO V2.1 - TEAM RACE READY The industry standard SmartAudio technology has been revamped slightly in this final iteration. The power levels have been rearranged to make more sense, doubling range with each setting: 25mW / 100mW* / 400mW*. Additionally, PitMode functionality has been opened up to in-race operation, which makes it possible to all but disable output power through Smart Audio, thus making team races or powered up quads on standby a possibility.
CLEANSWITCH - NEIGHBOR FRIENDLY CleanSwitch is a technology developed at TBS that will ensure that your video transmitter is interference-free while powering on, or while changing channels. All current video transmitters swipe across the entire band while being powered on, often resulting in flickering and heavy interference to anyone in the air, regardless of video channel chosen. TBS CleanSwitch will allow you to power on and change channels while your buddies are in the air, without any external interference. CleanSwitch is race friendly, and pilot friendly ... that's how we like it at TBS :)

The TBS Unify Race 2 is an amazing VTX. Compared to the many different analog transmitters I've used, I can say this one absolutely rocks in terms of video quality AND durability. I absolutely love how they've opted to use the heatsink to also act as impact and shorts protection from falls and crashes. Signal quality results in more confident flying when weaving between obstacles, trees, concrete, drywall...etc. Even if it's only at 400mW, this transmitter can reach out about a km if you have unobstructed LoS. When in doubt, punch out. Never disarm.
My only real complaint with this profile of VTX is the limited mounting options. It would be nice if a little TPU 30x30 mounting plate was included with this product, but no trouble if you can DIY.
when i received mine the box and everything was not damaged but when i opened it the canopy was cracked and the VTX did not work when i tried my first battery. I'm alright with the vtx being DOA as all i really wanted was the motors and beeeye camara, But when i reached out to customer service i was blamed for crashing it (even tho i never flew it). beware the QC is total garbage. save your money and buy a Mobula6 from a reputable company like GetFPV for RDQ's. I wasn't going to write a review but after the email i received i don't want anyone else getting scammed.

An absolute pleasure to fly. Handles incredibly well and responds to any input just as I expected.
The only criticism is not of the performance of the drone. Unfortunately, it arrived with damage to the canopy. But I was still able to fly it and make initial observations.
Update process is cumbersome, better if done with the VTX out of the quad. Also the update port is much flimsier than the earlier 2 antenna versions, IMO.
