The HOVERAir X1 PROMAX is the world’s first pocket-sized 8K flying action camera, designed to put pro-level aerial cinematography in your pocket. Weighing under 200g, this ultra-light drone unfolds in seconds and takes off without the need for a controller or phone. With 10 built-in flight modes like Orbit, Bird’s Eye, Follow, Side Follow, and Dolly Track, the HOVERAir X1 PROMAX makes cinematic footage accessible to everyone—even without flying experience.

Equipped with a 1/1.3” CMOS sensor, the PROMAX captures stunning 8K30 HDR video, smooth 4K120 slow-motion, and detailed 48MP photos. Its 2-axis gimbal with EIS and horizon leveling ensures rock-solid stability, even while tracking subjects at speeds up to 26 mph (bursts up to 37 mph).

A foldable aerodynamic cage keeps propellers safe, while advanced vision + ToF collision sensors provide enhanced obstacle avoidance up to 6.7 mph. With up to 16 minutes of flight time, 64GB onboard storage (expandable to 1TB), Level 5 wind resistance, and AI-powered positioning, the HOVERAir X1 PROMAX delivers next-generation flight performance anywhere you go.

Creative Pro-Style Flight Modes
Select your desired flight mode on the PROMAX's built-in display to have it launch into the air, capturing high-speed follow shots or performing complex Hollywood-style aerial maneuvers. The PROMAX is capable of following speeds up to 26 mph, with short bursts of continuous tracking at up to 37 mph. There are 10 built-in modes to choose from, with more available in the future via download.

Collision Detection
Vision-based rear active collision detection is enhanced with a vision and ToF (Time of Flight) proximity sensor, which lets the drone brake before collision at up to 6.7 mph.

Compared to the original X1, the PROMAX offers upgraded flight performance with a new SoC that uses AI-based positioning and computer vision tracking. Together, they allow for more reliable flight and positioning over any terrain, such as water, snow, or over a cliff.

While you don't need a phone to operate the PROMAX, you gain additional functionality when using the HOVERAir X1 mobile app. With it you can configure flight modes, download and share content, launch manual control, and more.
