Upgrade Your O4 Gyro to MP66

Some newer DJI O4 units are equipped with the I469D gyro, which may be more sensitive to frame vibration and can cause visible shaking or stabilization artifacts in RockSteady on certain FPV builds.

This service replaces the existing compatible gyro with an MP66 gyro, which is generally more tolerant of frame vibration and better suited to many FPV applications.

How It Works

1. Purchase the Service

Place your order for the MP66 Replacement Service through NewBeeDrone.

2. Send Us Your O4 Unit

After placing your order, Drop off Your Unit @ NEWBEEDRONE store in San Diego.

Please package the unit carefully to prevent damage during dropoff.

3. MP66 Replacement

Our technician will open the unit and perform the MP66 gyro replacement.

4. Inspection & Testing

After the replacement is completed, the unit will be inspected and function-tested before being returned.

5. Return Shipping

Your serviced unit will be shipped back to you after testing is complete.

Important Information

MP66 Availability

MP66 gyro chips are discontinued and availability is limited.

Service availability is subject to MP66 inventory at the time your unit is received.

This Is Not a Universal Vibration Repair

An MP66 replacement may help resolve stabilization issues associated with the I469D gyro, but it cannot correct every source of vibration.

Problems caused by:

• Damaged or unbalanced propellers
• Worn or damaged motors
• Frame resonance
• Improper camera mounting
• Compressed or ineffective vibration dampers
• Cable tension transferring vibration to the camera
• Other mechanical or tuning issues

may still affect video stabilization after the MP66 replacement.

Service Marks

This is a component-level hardware modification that requires opening the unit.

Minor cosmetic or service marks may be present after the work is completed.

Warranty

Opening and modifying a DJI O4 unit may affect the original manufacturer's warranty.

Please understand and accept this before purchasing the service.

Before Sending Your Unit

Please:

1. Remove the O4 unit from your aircraft unless otherwise instructed.
2. Do not send unnecessary antennas, mounting hardware, frames, or accessories.
3. Package the unit securely.
4. Include your NewBeeDrone order number

If our technician discovers unrelated damage or another issue that prevents the MP66 replacement from being completed, we will contact you before performing additional work.
