Superior power delivery is additionally achieved by the innovative mounting brackets which avoid the complication of having to run mounting bolts through the middle of the ESC. We call this the "Gorilla" mount.
Frame developers are encouraged to integrate the gorilla mounting pattern into their new and upcoming frames. Backwards compatibility is provided through mounting brackets.
I’ve been through many different stacks. I went with this one because I’m ready to move onto AM32 and have been very happy with all my TBS Crossfire components. Fitting this stack in an Apex Eco frame is tight. I had to add some M3 standoff spacers. I struggled with the ESC not recognizing one of the ESC’s after flashing 4.5 to the FC. Not sure what was happening but once I flashed 4.5.1 all was fine. I’m running the Supafly 5” tune preset with a couple tweaks, and it just rips and feels as good if not better than anything I’ve built in awhile.
