The TrueRC MX-AIR 5.8 is a cutting-edge FPV antenna designed for pilots seeking exceptional performance and reliability in their video transmission. With its innovative design, the MX-AIR antenna provides an impressive gain, ensuring clear and stable video feed even at extended ranges. This antenna is particularly well-suited for racing and freestyle applications, where maintaining a strong connection is crucial for optimal performance.
Crafted with high-quality materials, the TrueRC MX-AIR 5.8 is lightweight and durable, making it an ideal choice for various FPV setups. Its compact size allows for easy installation on drones without adding significant weight, while the omnidirectional pattern guarantees consistent signal reception from all directions. Upgrade your FPV experience with the TrueRC MX-AIR 5.8 antenna and enjoy superior video clarity and reliability during every flight.
The X-Air or ‚X-Air for short, is a hemispheric antenna. Hemispheric means ‚half-sphere or an antenna with a true 180deg coverage. Not only we doubled the range directly off the sides, but considerably augmented the axial ratio at these extreme angles. Pointed at the sky, this antenna can even replace an omni if need be. Perfect of freestyle, racing ot just going out a few kMs.
SPECS:
Gain: 5.8dbic
Cross-Polar Rejection: -10 to -25dB (2.6%)
Bandwidth: 5.0GHz-6.0GHz
Radiation Efficiency: 99%
Beam-width*: 180deg
Beam-width @-3dB**: 110deg
SWR: <=1.5:1
Weight: 13.2g
Size: 54mm x 26mm
Connector: SMA male
*Coverage where reception is at least equivalent to an omni. **Coverage where at least 70% of the max range is obtained.
I just point this thing straight up and it works better than a normal omni antenna that has a big null directly overhead. Now I don't worry about losing video when I'm flying directly over my own head.
