Introducing the Mr. Steele V5 Stout 2307 (1950KV) 6S (5”-5.5” prop) FPV freestyle motor. The Stout motor is wound at 1950KV for extra power and speed.
The V5 features an increased stator size and a redesigned motor bell setup for more durability. This new iteration of my trusted power train formula follows a lightweight ethos with increased power and torque where it counts. Attaining a high power-to-weight ratio cannot overstate when building a high-performance aircraft. The V5 Silk add confidence with even heavier HD cameras.
Thank you for your support and take pride in knowing that you are the reason I am able to keep evolving in this amazing space we call the FPV community.
V5 MOTOR HIGHLIGHTS
Increased stator size 2307
Base redesign 16x16(only) mounting holes (new structural changes for more durability)
Complete bell redesigned (durability and smoothness in mind)
Thick single strand copper winding
Increased EFFICIENCY & POWER
Complete Interchangeable motor pants redesign (thicker & more crash/low temperature resistant, better gap fitment, + more protection coverage for the “tall pants”)
Better assembly tolerances
Overall QC improvements
9mm steel bearings
Eco-Friendly packaging
Motor weight 33.8g (full-length cables) compared to Stout V1 at 31.5g
Pants Weight - Low - 1g vs (0.8 v3) | Tall - 2g vs (1.8 v3)
All in all this motor is an absolute gem only increasing the weight by a tad over 1g from the previous model while achieving more power, efficiency, and most importantly durability.
Enjoy & Thank you for your continued support. -Steele
This was kind of a late night lark. I'd seen this upgrade for the Mk3 for a while and pondered whether it was a gimmick or not, and I'm pleased to say it's a genuinely good upgrade. It has reduced the noise of my Mk3 considerably. I haven't noted any significant increase in print quality, but the old drone of the bed is gone and that's completely worth it.
when i received mine the box and everything was not damaged but when i opened it the canopy was cracked and the VTX did not work when i tried my first battery. I'm alright with the vtx being DOA as all i really wanted was the motors and beeeye camara, But when i reached out to customer service i was blamed for crashing it (even tho i never flew it). beware the QC is total garbage. save your money and buy a Mobula6 from a reputable company like GetFPV for RDQ's. I wasn't going to write a review but after the email i received i don't want anyone else getting scammed.
I had a very personable experience shopping with my drone your team took the time to help me purchase exactly what I and also identified the additional accessories that I may need to purchase that way I would not have post purchase regret. I will definitely be shopping there again for more flight systems and accessories.
An absolute pleasure to fly. Handles incredibly well and responds to any input just as I expected.
The only criticism is not of the performance of the drone. Unfortunately, it arrived with damage to the canopy. But I was still able to fly it and make initial observations.
