The ES900TX is Happymodel's updated 915MHz/868MHz ExpressLRS Transmitter module for long range flying. It is based on the open source software ExpressLRS that offer long transmission ranges, a reliable control link, and convenient features like over-the-air updates and a no-button binding procedure.
The Happymodel ExpressLRS system is plug and play with OpenTX radios such as the Radiomaster TX16S, Jumper T16, and Jumper T18. Long range has never been more accessible!
The updated ES900TX module now includes a heatsink and fan to counter the heat released during use. The included 2006 fan now automatically runs when the transmitter power is set to 250mW.
ES900TX: MCU:ESP32+ESP8285 Dimension: 55mm*39mm*11mm Weight: 9.2gram (only the TX module) Antenna connector: SMA VCC input: 5~13v, Recommend 5v~9v RF Frequency optional: 915mhz or 868mhz(EU) Maximum Output Power: <33dBm(For >27dBm operation, we recommend add a fan for force cooling) Wifi update firmware function for ES900TX would be available in a short time.

Bind Procedure
- Supply power to the ES900RX, wait until the red LED on the ES900RX are off, immediately turn off the power, and then repeat again the above steps. When the ES900RX is powered on for the third time, the red LED light will start to double flash quickly, which means that the ES900RX enters the binding mode. - Insert the ES900TX or ES915TX module to Radio transmitter, and choose External RF mode to CRSF protocol, then you can find ELRS menu from the Radio systems, Enter into ELRS and press [Bind], the Red LED on the ES900RX module will turning off then start blinking slowly and finally getting to be solid , this means bind successfully.
ES900RX Firmware Update by WiFi Procedure
- Make the ES900RX enter into Bind mode and then wait around 1 minute and don’t bind with it , then the ES900RX would get into Wifi mode automatically, you could connected the wifi hot pot “ExpressLRS RX” by enter the password “expresslrs” - Visit the firmware update website by enter “10.0.0.1” , and choose the correct firmware then click “update” , wait for around 1~2 minutes, the update progress would finished and you can find “firmware update successful and reboot” , that means update is finished.

I really like this radio but I had a gimbal stick pull out without any pulling on it. I've had this happen with other name brand radios so it's not a surprise or let down. A little super glue and right back at it. It feels great! I love the full sized gimbals! I have the zorro and the boxer but I think this one is the right fit for me.
Handy as a second transmitter for travel, tiny whoops, etc
Surprisingly good for the price especially with ELRS. It has just enough switches that I can do most of what I can with the TX16S, and it's so much easier to throw in a bag and go. My only wish is that I could put the thumb-grippies style of stick ends on it easily (and still remove them for storage), but maybe someone will come up with an adapter or similar. Next step is to try a Gemini ELRS nano module and see what kind of range is possible on that.
