NewBeeDrone & Joshua Bardwell Smart Power Goggle Cable
The NewBeeDrone & Joshua Bardwell Smart Power Goggle Cable is a collaboration product between NewBeeDrone and Joshua Bardwell.
Back in Mid 2021, Joshua Bardwell contacted us and brought up the idea of a smart goggle power cable adaptor. We realized that we could make a device to power a goggle through leftover 4S/6S batteries from quads since even if the battery level is at 30%, it still has enough power to supply the goggle.
At first, we thought of just making a very simple power module board that takes 2S-6S batteries and connect it with a 5.5x2.1 DC male plug and use a heat shrink to cover it. However, that method seems too unreliable so we decided to put a power indicator LED light and a buzzer to indicate the number of battery cells when you plug in a battery. The aluminum case acts like a shield to protect the hardware while providing heat dissipation for the power module.
Why do we call it the Smart Power Module? Because it can automatically detect input voltage to indicate battery cell and will output voltage based on the battery voltage. If the battery voltage is too low, it will give a low voltage to trigger the "goggle low voltage" warning.

I like it
Had an issue with the first one. NBD replaced it no hassle. Otherwise, I like the beeps. The cable is nice and pliable. I dig it. 👍

The jb universal battery adapter fir fpv goggles
Suoer nice shiny strong black insulation high quality , strong . Built in voltage regulator on xt60 . Plug it in your goggles , recievers . I made an adapter for my rc control transmitter . Much more convienient than the old messy multiple battery packs of differnt sizes that needed charged every 3 flights . Get 2 if you can 😃👍

Nice!!!
Great cable. Hope a version for the Goggles 2 comes out.
I wanted something that was packable and easy to take with. Got tired of needing to pack a large radio, neck straps, and all of the needed padding to just fly my whoops when traveling. This radio is so much easier to throw in a bag and fly with. Coming from a Taranis X9D plus, the pocket is a lot lighter and easier to carry. Gimbals feel good and it’s comfortable when holding. It’s the first small radio I tried that I was able to feel comfortable with. Compared to Zorro and TX12, the Pocket feels a lot more balanced. Highly recommended as a travel or only radio if you want something light and easy to carry.
Some downsides:
1. Arming/disarming takes a bit to get used to since there are not traditional switches.
2. Even though there are 5 position switches for the trims, you can’t use the center press as a switch like Jumper
3. The case is glossy, I wish it was more textured like DJI radios for better grip.
4. The speaker makes a buzzing sound when powered on and sometimes switching things in menus.
Otherwise great radio that’s easy to fly and live with.
I flew drones yrs ago. I dabbled in all types of drones from tiny whoops to 4 inch freestyle/acro quads to cine dji. Good beginner starter bundle. Definitely worth the $.
