Good so far..

Bought based on other owner's reliability reports. Most of my Toolkit chargers are no longer functioning and had to be replaced. My older ISDT chargers have selector wheel issues. I'm hoping these two P6s hold up well to lots of LiHV 6S 5000mah battery charging. I also like the fact that the P6 double checks with you to make sure you really want LiHV 4.35 volt charging before it will start.

Great charger, I highly recommend over hotas old line!

I ordered this charger because of the regeneration mode. Not to be confused with the external discharge. regen discharges by sending the power back into the charge lipo if powered off a battery or to the other channel. As the hardest thing you can do to your lipo charger is resistance discharge. This is GREAT!
Probably the best part of this charger over the d6 is actually quite small but AMAZING upgrade. when you plug in a lipo to say ch 1 it will since it and switch to that screen! new lipo on ch 2 it moves to it, no more Use channel warning!
other differences are the wattage is per channel, so you cant steel charge wattage from one channel.
Its not all perfect as you can probably tell they're copying some of the great advantages from i charger (by the way its the exact same size as the X8) but it still cuts the power when it hits the minimum input voltage. Unlike the icharger that will slow the charge and keep charging. Like when you start a charge at 15-30 amps and start sagging your charge battery or ps down I charger will slow the charge and use the power lipo all the way down till its actually the minim voltage. This as well as others will just beep and stop charge.

Best charger ever

This charger is small, it has a lot of functions (all you ever need) and it works well especially with the power supply that it pairs with.
I love it

A disappointment in quality

I have to say that I was excited to upgrade my charger inventory with the HOTA P6 dual channel charger in December 2020. However, I can not recommend this charger because this week, near it's one month birthday, the charger burned something internally and now only partially works. The HOTA P6 has a pleasant list of features and interface but reliability and trust is everything in a charger. There is a lot at stake. I am an experienced user and this charger was very lightly used. I have several ISDT chargers that work perfectly. Anyway, the failure occurred during a very modest 'storage discharge' of a 1500mah 2 cell 7.4v pack. It will be difficult for me to trust the HOTA brand now.
