Armattan Light Grip

Lipo pads made of neoprene or silicone gel have been around for a while now. They are very sticky and we've seen videos of guys flying quads without even using a lipo strap to demonstrate how sticky the stuff is. People ask us all the time why we're not using sticky lipo pads and the reason is weight. For example, a Marmotte foam pad weighs about 1 gram vs the sticky gel pad at over 10 grams. That's a 10-1 difference in weight. It's a lot and when we try to design frames with weight constraints, using the gel pads is just too heavy.

This is literally over one year in the making. Light eva foam pad, or sticky gel pad? Why not both? You know, like a lightweight eva pad with a gel layer on top. This is it. The Armattan Light Grip. You've seen it here first.
