The 3DR LOCATION ONE GPS is a multi-constellation GNSS module powered by the advanced uBlox M9N chipset, delivering exceptional positioning accuracy and reliability. Designed for DroneCAN-compatible platforms, this smart GPS device integrates seamlessly with ArduPilot APPeriph CAN peripheral firmware for efficient and reliable communication.
Key features of the 3DR LOCATION ONE GPS include the RM3100 magnetic compass, DPS310 barometer, an RGB status LED, and a push-button for safety arming. Unlike standard GNSS modules, the Location One incorporates a high-performance ground plane and optimized RF circuitry, ensuring superior reception and performance, even at difficult angles. This added attention to design enhances performance by up to 15% over conventional GNSS boards with patch antennas.
The Location One is a multi-constellation GNSS powered by the new uBlox M9N module. This smart device is based on the ArduPilot APPeriph CAN peripheral firmware.
Location One is not just a u-Blox chip populated on a purple reference GNSS board design. Patch antennas won't work by themselves, they require a proper ground plane to achieve maximum performance and assure good reception at any angle. The Location One ground plane and RF circuitry might look the same as other options, but we work very hard to give you that extra ~15% performance.
