Compared to Matek M10Q-5883 on the same 7" quad and same location the Holybro M9N outperforms others in speed locking satellites, achieving DGPS. Also, due to the internal battery it retains previous GNSS location, satellites etc. for fast reboot in the same location.
Great pouch! Goggles 2 fit perfectly. Outside pocket holds one battery and cable. I feel comfortable leaving the eye lens cover off and just putting goggles in bag when not in use.
It is unfortunate that this is basically the only super lightweight RID module, because I have heard a lot of issues with them just straight up not working. Essentially a worthless product. Does not obtain any satellites. I have contacted DroneTag support and they tried troubleshooting a little and then recommended I pay to ship the product all the way back to the Czech Republic… I contacted NewBeeDrone support for a return and they have not responded in 2 business days. I am hoping I will be able to return this or swap it for another unit (if its just a faulty one).
I love NewBeeDrone, the Cockroach 65mm frames and the warranty. However, I decided to try the 75mm frame and have to say they are extremely fragile. I typically reinforce all my frames in the corners with e6000 and have added protection, but that did nothing to help here. I suspect this frame is just basic plastic and would love to see it in a more durable polycarbonate or even better a Polypropylene version.
