I've had my eye on this radio ever since it launched, and I finally picked one up. I came from a full size frsky Horus and it is a large heavy radio. The Boxer is much lighter and smaller and just easier to manage. The fact that it's got ELRS built in and I can go up to one watt in output power is icing on the cake.

Great Radio
Great feel and performance!

Ag01CNC is a little bit better feel than mambo CNC gimbal.
The radio on hand feels not as good as steel’s version mambo, but the Ag01 CNC upgrade gimbal feels a bit wider sense range. I like the one with 1 W, 1000hz and larger battery capacity.

I really like it.
Tried a TX16 and an iFlight Commando prior to this. I like the Boxer the best. I have the ELRS version because that's what I fly. It feels better made than the other radios I've tried. It feels more finished. I really like the way the grip feels: there is a notch near the front which makes it easier to hold while pinching and know where your hands are on the radio. This is my new primary radio. I only wish it had a color touchscreen like the 16.
Update process is cumbersome, better if done with the VTX out of the quad. Also the update port is much flimsier than the earlier 2 antenna versions, IMO.
I use this mont for all my builds with a DJI O3 system. It comes with all the hardware nessassery and I like how is provides a small gap between the frame and the air unit so you can run wires under it. With all that said, it is still very low profile to fit on builds that use short 20mm standoffs too.
This thing is really fun and I haven't had to touch the PIDs at all. Super maneuverable on high rates and really mellow on low rates. I'm teaching my six year old grandson how to fly and he's doing great with it then raise the rates and I doing freestyle in my livingroom. Top off the performance with Newbeedrones awesome customer service and you can't lose. Newbeedrone is now my go to site for whoop stuff.
