Introducing our new frame, the Slatra. This frame is a non warrantied frame that was first introduced on SabotageRC.com and it is now also available on the Armattan website. As with all our non warrantied frames, this frame is affordable compared with our lifetime warrantied models.
The Slatra fits up to 5.5 inch props. It weighs a very acceptable 116 grams. The rear end uses custom made CNC posts that protect the CF. The front end uses custom made CNC cam mounts fitted for a micro camera.
A rugged 4mm "bumper" designed at the front end makes this model a good contender for a basher frame that can take a real beating.
Modular arms using only 2 bolts make for speedy field repairs.
This frame is quite roomy so it's a good frame for a first build, though many frames of this format are used today by experienced pilots.
This frame is more or less an Armattan Badger with a different solution at the front end to make use of micro cams. We also think it is a good option for pilots on a budget, or pilots who care not about the Armattan warranty. This model uses a total of 4 custom made CNC parts and rubber moulded parts. The geometry is exactly the same as the Armattan Badger but it is lighter and simpler by design.
All in all, the Slatra is a fantastic alternative to our more costly lifetime warrantied offerings. But make no mistake, the attention to details and quality of the components spare no expenses much like all our frames. Perfect for beginners but also a very good option for seasoned pilots who need a frame that can take a beating and live to tell the tale.
This was kind of a late night lark. I'd seen this upgrade for the Mk3 for a while and pondered whether it was a gimmick or not, and I'm pleased to say it's a genuinely good upgrade. It has reduced the noise of my Mk3 considerably. I haven't noted any significant increase in print quality, but the old drone of the bed is gone and that's completely worth it.
when i received mine the box and everything was not damaged but when i opened it the canopy was cracked and the VTX did not work when i tried my first battery. I'm alright with the vtx being DOA as all i really wanted was the motors and beeeye camara, But when i reached out to customer service i was blamed for crashing it (even tho i never flew it). beware the QC is total garbage. save your money and buy a Mobula6 from a reputable company like GetFPV for RDQ's. I wasn't going to write a review but after the email i received i don't want anyone else getting scammed.
I had a very personable experience shopping with my drone your team took the time to help me purchase exactly what I and also identified the additional accessories that I may need to purchase that way I would not have post purchase regret. I will definitely be shopping there again for more flight systems and accessories.
An absolute pleasure to fly. Handles incredibly well and responds to any input just as I expected.
The only criticism is not of the performance of the drone. Unfortunately, it arrived with damage to the canopy. But I was still able to fly it and make initial observations.
