Hummingbird 0702 True 30000kv RaceSpec Brushless Motors - (Set of 4)

The Hummingbird 0702 30000KV RaceSpec Brushless Motors are engineered for high-speed whoop racing, delivering true 30000KV performance for extreme speed and power. Designed for pro pilots, these motors weigh just 1.29g per motor, including straight enamel wires with heat-shrink, making them some of the lightest available on the market. NewBeeDrone is the first company to use straight enamel wire for direct soldering to the ESC, reducing weight and improving efficiency—ideal for high-speed racing where every gram counts.

These motors are specifically built for 1S racing setups and offer precision performance. For maximum longevity, we recommend pairing the Hummingbird 0702 motors with NewBeeDrone Smoov Lube Motor Bearing Oil, which helps reduce friction and wear, keeping your motors in top condition.

WARNING #1:

This motor is meant for our Hummingbird V3.1 RaceSpec BNF, and is not recommended for use on any other whoop due to the very high KV rating. 30000KV is very high, even for racing applications, and can easily cause damage to batteries, ESCs, and the motors themselves. This product is designed for experienced pilots only who fully understand the risks associated with high-KV motors. Unlike the majority of our products, returns will not be accepted for this motor, and we are not responsible for any damage these motors cause to themselves or any other components that you choose to use them with.

WARNING #2:

Each motor phase consists of two enamel wires. Be careful not to mix the wires from different phases, as this can cause the motor to burn out.

Hummingbird 0702 True 30000kv RaceSpec Brushless Motors

Pretry light but easily vulnerable

I managed to burn one out in an indoor crash within the 8th flight.

Probably overdressed when the whoop freaked out, as they do when they crash, and the overcurrent and resistance burnt it.

I'd stick to limiting the throttle limit to 90 or 80%

Also, crash recovery set to kill motors would be smart. This way the FC would disarm the quad when you crash instead of freaking out and potentially burning our your motors.

I got these because they were the lightest and they came highly recommended. I was pleased that they are also a good deal and consistently available. I’ve probably put 50 packs through them and no problems yet.

Awesome whoop motors

These are by far the lightest whoop motors, power and efficiency is great.

Hummingbird RS Bad Motor

I received this motor and they work great although I had to fix my hummingbird RS that was brand new from the box because the motor did not work and have not received any support on the matter from newbeedrone
