NewBeeDrone has gone brushless! These 0802 18000kv motors were tested and then selected from many different KV and size options to give you the best overall flying experience. With more punch and more top end than traditional brushed motors, these brushless motors bring everything to the next level.
These motors come with JST-1.0 plugs installed but also come with a set of Micro JST-1.25's. The BeeBrain Brushless uses Flight controller uses JST-1.0 plugs.
Can't really tell too much of a difference between these and the plaid 0802s, but I'm not super picky with my whoops and they both work well

0802 18000kv sits in the "sweet spot" for flight time and power. Too high KV and yeah it'll rip, but you'll be done in 2 mins. Too low and it will have longevity, but will put you to sleep and will be in the upper portion of throttle.
I'd say these are the best for 1s 31mm-40mm props for beginners. Haven't tried them with 1mm shaft 65mm props on a mosquito XL frame to say how they preform. But on a 40mm regular mosquito frame, they are a blast! Also super easy to swap FC and motors to either a 65mm or 75mm whoop frame.

Replaced 4 working EX0802 with these to find only 2 of the new gold motors working properly. 1 doesn't start half the time, the other doesn't work at all, and is way tighter / harder to spin by hand than the others. I've since replaced with Tiny Whoop motors, and oh wow look at them all work as they should. This is the 3rd time I've received faulty products in the few orders I've placed with NBD. This is the second time my emails and FB chats have been ignored by customer service on the replacement of these bad products. It's been a week and Dalton can't find the time to return a simple email about when replacements will be available or give a refund. Never again buying from NBD.
Good flier, handles the abuse a new flier like me has put it through
First prebuild from NBD. I swapped out the tracer RX for crossfire, initially had a no gyro flag on the AIO but was able to get it sorted with NBD support. Flying it is a good time and it’s held up well to some decent crashes. So far only thing(s) I’ve needed to replace has been a propeller and a M3x20 standoff. Took me too long to notice but the 2 aluminum pieces are for taking the O3 air unit from 25x25 mounting and making it 20x20.
