NewBeeDrone Mosquito XL - 65mm Propeller Whoop Frame Miskito

Designed to drop-in your existing whoop electronics, the Mosquito XL transforms your whoop into an outdoor nano beast!

With 65mm props the Mosquito flies like a 3 inch toothpick but at a lighter weight and smaller form factor.

We recommend using the BeeBrain BLV3 AIO and Gold 0802 18000KV motors with 1s batteries. While designing the Mosquito XL, we found that the 0802 motors provide plenty of power while keeping the weight low.

Note: The frame does not accept the mounting of larger motors. If your existing whoop motors have wires that are too short, solder on the included motor wires. When doing so, check that the solder joints are not coming into contact with the carbon fiber frame.

    Nice little frame

Woks great. I have it built with 22000kv 1102 motors and a happymodel x12. It flies great on 1s with quicksilver firmware. frame is great with little flex and the durability seems good so far.

    Nice Frame.

Love the design, and the quality is there for sure. My only gripe is the M2 holes appeared to be slightly undersized. I had to drive the screws through carefully with the bit driver. Possibly it was intentional to get the screws to stay in place to better secure the fc board, idk. I made it work either way, and I love how the battery trays work with this thing. And all the little things that came along with it made it a sweet deal. Will probably get the normal mosquito frame eventually as well. Good job Newbeedrone!

Nice frame for 3 hole brushless motors

Good option for a long range 2.5 inch 1s or a 2s ripper! NBD flow 1102 10,000 kv is a blast on 2s. Haven’t tried the 19,000kv variant but I’m sure it’d be fun as well if you are sticking with 1s. Frame is lightweight and strong. Survived a couple of hard crashes and only has a few scratches!

Only neg is I wish it had the little “nubs” like on the savage bee frame that you can easily wrap 1 or 2 of NBD’s little clear rubber bands on. I do that for the savage bee frame and it holds lipos wonderfully. Instead of the massive ones on this frame and regular mosquito frame. Not a huge fan of the TPU lipo mounts but you can also use the rubber bands on this one.

All in all a good frame of you’re looking for something in the 2.5 inch range, and can use any of the whoop 3 hole motors. The gemfan 65mm bi blades 🍐 nicely with the flow 1102s. Or try the emax tri blades as well, super smooth. 👍🏻
