SPI ELRS3.0 receiver (Binding instruction: power on the drone, push the bind button under the flight controller to get into bind mode. If your remote control is not ELRS3.0 or above version. This drone has been carefully crafted using only newbeedrone parts. It is important to note that any use of non-compatible parts from other brands may result in technical difficulties. Additionally, should you choose to modify the drone, it is crucial that you assume full responsibility for any resulting issues. It is not advisable to proceed with modifications without the necessary knowledge and expertise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safe operation of the drone.

If you mess up the setting? 

The stock firmware comes with all settings, including PID tune data. If you change anything and feel that it does not perform as well as the original settings, you can reset it in Betaflight under the Setup tab to bring it back to the factory default.

Binding procedure:

To bind, connect to USB power or a battery source. Push the bind button on the front bottom of the flight controller to trigger the binding mode. Bind it to your radio controller. (Note: The Hummingbird v3 only supports ELRS 3.0 or a later version. If your remote controller is ELRS 2.5, you will need to update your ELRS TX Module.)

great whoop, great price, easy maintenance

It lives up to it's name by outflying any other bnf whoop I own, like the tiny but mighty hummingbird, who have been known to harass the bald eagle. All plug and play for easy fix in case you crash, which you will, Because that's how we learn.

Just Better

Between the Happymodel Mobula 6 and the hummingbird, the choice was obvious. Despite the Mobula 6 having better components overall, the AIO, motors, and frame on the Hummingbird are used by most high-level pilots for their reliability, consistency, and quality. Being below $100, I expected to get a cheap, unreliable, disposable drone that would be a pain. After getting it and flying it for the first time, I can confidently say this is the best drone for beginners. The parts are all high quality, the company is easy to contact, and the price is unbeatable. Definitely the best all-around drone.

I love having a US based drone company that's there for you. FPV can be a struggle being that most drone companies are based in China. Replacement parts usually take months and email responses can take weeks.

Great whoop, easy to to control, super durable.

Prop guards provide good protection, can still zip around fast. Flight time with 300mah betafpv bt2.0 1s batteries is consistently 2:20-2:30. Only complaint is I wish it came with the bt2.0 connector. I replaced the ph2.0 with bt2.0.

Binding quirk

I gave up trying to bind to my JumperTPro v2 4in1 with elrs external module, and it wasn’t until I watched J Bardwell vid saying you have to use latch switch SA for the ARM switch - knowing this, binding to RM Pocket was straight forward.
